OWNER & DIRECTOR

Ms. Honey: 

Ms. Honey is a mother, military veteran, and a professional teacher with over 12 years of classroom experience. Her passion is the safety and wellbeing of children. Her calling is to prepare children for society through education and life skills.  

After serving in the U.S. Army, two missions with FEMA, and preparing refugees to integrate in the American way of life with the agency EMM under Home Land Security, Ms. Honey began her journey as an educator. She began as an elementary school interventionist in reading and mathematics. After the first year and a half, she became a nationally certified substitute teacher and then a 4th-8th licensed teacher in the State of Florida, with over 100 certifications in professional development for educators, to include life skills instructor, certified in gifted and talented (GT), and most recently, special education (SPED).  Ms. Honey earned the distinguish award of Teacher of the Year for the 2014-2015 School Year at Urban Academy in Broward County.

Ms. Honey is the proud mother of two gifted and talented children who are now in college, and loving mother of a special little boy who is in the autism spectrum with nonverbal tendencies, and is the love of her life. Ms. Honey has been a mom, mentor, and teacher to over and estimated 2,000 children in the last 12 years. She is looking forward to seeing your Little Bee... baby... at The Hive Preschool and Education Centers.

CO-OWNER & TEACHER

Lliam is the man behind the daily operation of our centers and the primary teacher for our preschoolers.  He is an award-winning scholar who attended a magnet program in South Florida for high school, Hollywood Hills Military Academy.  Currently, Lliam is a college student studying business leadership and accounting, while doing certifications related to early childhood education. Lliam has served as a teacher assistant in a private school in South Florida, East Coast Academy.  Additionally, he has helped raise his baby brother, often times providing care for multiple days at a time by himself or with the help of his sister.  He is multitalented from the academics to the arts.  He has experience as a Martial Arts mentor and is a highly skilled cook. He is excited to be a part of our members education.
